February 2019: Over-Sat to provide a Mobile VSAT Broadband Network in Africa.
Over-Sat was selected for the design and delivery of a Mobile VSAT Broadband Network, as part of an EEZ protection solution, for a governmental project in a large African country. Over-Sat’s solution includes a central HUB, several maritime VSAT antennas on-board vessels, ground mobile terminals on vehicles and satellite air-time capacity.

February 16, 2017: Successful VSAT installation on an unmanned surface vessel (USV). Over-Sat announced today the successful installation of satellite communications (SATCOM) solution on an USV, enabling full operational missions of the USV from a distance of thousands of kilometers.
The SATCOM solution by Over-Sat includes a stabilized maritime terminal on the USV, ground HUB stations and satellite air capacity and was successfully tested under various speeds, sea conditions and maneuvers. The project was done in collaboration with RedWaves.

August 28, 2016: Over-Sat announced today the successful installation of inflight WIFI connectivity on Boeing 777 of an International airline. The solution, approved by EASA, is operating and provides on-board WIFI internet connection.
Over-Sat led the project as the prime contractor, responsible for all the aspects including the design, development, delivery of hardware and software, installation, testing, documentation and providing all the required regulatory approvals. EASA (the European Aviation Safety Agency) approved the installation and granted the STC (Supplement Type Certificate) and permit to fly documents.
