The long range and the backup satellite communication solution of Elbit’s Seagull USV provided by Over-Sat enabled the remote operation of Elbit’s Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) in the high seas during the US Navy Task Force 59’s three-weeks exercise “Digital Horizon”, that took place in Bahrain.
Over-Sat provided the Maritime Stabilized SatCom Terminal (VSAT) on the USV and the Satellite airtime capacity, while on-site Over-Sat team installed the maritime terminal on the USV and the 2.4m ground HUB antenna, the team also integrated all the network elements to ensure the successful continuous remote operation of the USV.
