Python-5 and Python-7 are ultra-compact, lightweight Ka-band mobile SATCOM systems based on 3D printed metamaterial Luneburg Lens technology. They deliver exceptional performance with minimal SWaP (size, weight, and power consumption), high resistance to jamming, and low radar cross section (RCS), while supporting connectivity across GEO, MEO, and LEO satellite constellations.

Unlike conventional antenna architectures, the Luneburg Lens design eliminates RF feed blockage and scan losses, resulting in superior RF efficiency across the full elevation range. This enables reliable, high-quality video, voice, and data communications at all elevation angles while in motion.

The Python systems are optimized for SATCOM-on-the-Move operations across a wide range of air, sea, and ground platforms — both manned and unmanned — including UAVs, SUVs, AUVs, and dismounted soldiers.

Their ultra-compact form factor makes them particularly suitable for small- and medium-sized platforms operating in demanding and contested environments, while providing resilient broadband communications during dynamic maneuvering.
